Staff at Firetrace Ltd have pulled on their festive jumpers this week to support and raise money for a local charity.
Woolly Pully Week is the annual festive fundraiser for St Elizabeth Hospice and sees businesses, schools and local groups come together to support the charity by simply wearing their Christmas jumpers for the day and donating £2 to the hospice to take part.
Tim Melton from Firetrace Ltd said: “Many of our staff have first-hand experience of the great work the hospice does. Those that don’t are only too aware of the service we have on our doorstep, helping local people and their families in a time of great need.
“That’s why we’re supporting the hospice during Woolly Pully Week by not only wearing our festive jumpers to work but also adding to this with extra fundraising including cake sales and sweepstakes.
“We’ve had a lot of fun taking part and knowing the money is going to a local charity that serves the community we share makes it even more worthwhile.”
Woolly Pully Week takes place from Monday 11 December to Sunday 17 December. To sign up and take part, visit stelizabethhospice.org.uk/joinwoolly.
