Firetrace News

With the news currently dominated by Coronavirus (COVID-19) we wanted to notify you that we are monitoring the situation and doing everything we can to reduce any risk. We will continue to check daily the guidance from the government and relevant public health authorities and be guided by that advice.

The well-being of our staff, customers and is vital, please be advised that the Company has absence management procedures, sick leave and emergency dependants leave processes in place.

Please also remember that the Company has health, safety and hygiene rules along with procedures in place which we will continue to follow in the line with normal practice.  If you have any questions or concerns on infection control, then please contact us.

There is no requirement to close, but this will also be checked on a regular basis inline with government guidance. Our primary focus of business is on environmental, organisational and general hygiene measures to reduce the risk of transmission. However, we have cancelled all Firetrace training courses until further notice.

Our staff have been notified to:

  • Wash hands in hot water and soap regularly.
  • Have their temperature checked and documented upon entering the workplace.
  • Use tissues when coughing and sneezing and dispose of these responsibly in the waste bins provided.
  • Advise us if they have travel plans outside the UK and/or to affected areas or have been in contact with people that have.

Should the virus spread more widely in the UK you will be kept updated on actions taken to reduce risks of exposure in the work place.

Thank you for your continued support for Firetrace and fire safety.
