Firetrace News

Here at Firetrace Ltd we are operating business as usual. During these very uncertain times due to the coronavirus pandemic we are still providing our services throughout UK and Ireland while abiding to government guidelines.

While continuing business as normal, our main priority is the safety of our suppliers, clients, customers and staff. In some cases fire suppression is a mandatory piece of equipment for businesses and assets to operate so, due to the recent government guidance, we have implemented many procedures for our employees to limit the spread of COVID-19. Please see below the measures we have put in place to ensure we are doing everything we can ...

  • Firetrace will adhere to the government guidelines regarding social distancing.

  • Wash hands upon arrival to work and regularly throughout the day. Always wash hands before entering any communal area.
  • Maximum of three permanent residents in each office
  • Maximum of three persons in the canteen. Avoid dwelling in the canteen and take breaks in your vehicle or at your workstation whenever possible.
  • Remove your own waste, empty your own bins. Wash & dry your own cups & utensils.
  • To limit possible cross contamination please only use your own working apparatus.
  • Smoking and vaping is banned on Firetrace premises.

  • All company vehicles will be restricted to one employee. This may mean two or more vans being sent on jobs where multiple engineers are required.

  • We will cease engineers overnight stays and revert to daily travelling for all jobs. The closest available engineer will be allocated where practicable.

  • Firetrace employees will cease work immediately if they believe the environment is un-safe

“Security & fire safety personnel can play a vital role at this time of national challenge. People working in these sectors who are essential to national infrastructure are “Key Workers” for the purposes of the Government’s guidance on COVID-19”  James Brokenshire, Minister of State for Security at the Home Office.

We will continue to update you all should anything change.
