Firetrace News

Firetrace’s new patented valves has hit the headlines in Engineer Live – an online magazine featuring the latest engineering news.

Firetrace’s new valves hit the headlines in the online version of Machinery Market this month – a global weekly magazine for engineers in manufacturing.

Firetrace are currently carrying out a large project in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, installing Fryertrace an automatic fire suppression system to cooker hobs in newly redeveloped student accommodation.

Local business Firetrace Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.

Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Firetrace’s application for Safecontractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business.

Over the years, Firetrace Ltd has supplied and installed automatic fire suppression systems to laboratory fume cupboards in a number of universities and scientific establishments. A few years ago the Chemistry Department at the University of York installed a number of our systems in their laboratories following on from a bad experience they had some years ago involving a serious fire.
