A Local Suffolk business’ product is to be featured this Sunday on North One Television’s special documentary along with Guy Martin.

 Local business Firetrace Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.

Every year several thousand people are injured in kitchen fires in the UK. Government statistics for 2014/15 show that cooking appliances caused 50 per cent of accidental dwelling fires in that year, and was by far the largest ignition category.  The kitchen is the most dangerous place in your home but by taking a few simple steps to make your kitchen safe then you are less likely to have a fire.

On Thursday 21st September, we hosted our first ever open day at our premises in Ipswich. The purpose of the event was to celebrate achieving LPCB standard LPS1666 for our direct low pressure NOVEC 1230 system for electrical panels. The day was attended by over 20 professionals from the insurance industry. 

The Loss Prevention Certification Board has certified Firetrace’s direct low pressure NOVEC 1230 system for the new LPCB Standard LPS1666.  The new standard was developed to verify the performance of direct pneumatic tube based suppression systems and to confirm to potential customers that they are manufactured by an ISO 9001: 2015 approved manufacturer.
