Firetrace Ltd was proud to achieve LPCB accreditation in 2017 for its direct low pressure NOVEC 1230 system.

On Friday 4^th May Firetrace Ltd held an exciting toolbox talk to discuss further developments and new products within our portfolio. Over 30 members of the team attended the event at our Ipswich premises from all departments including installation, servicing and manufacturing.

As in previous years , we exhibited at The Food and Drink Manufacturing Health and Safety Conference organised by IOSH the global organisation for health and safety professionals. The event was held over two days in Broughton, Scunthorpe and two members of the Firetrace team attended.

Firetrace have recently gained the Made in Britain mark for the manufacturing of Firetrace fire suppression systems.

Historically, in the UK bus and coaches were not required to have fire suppression systems fitted. It was at the discretion of the coach operators whether such systems were installed on their vehicles. This changed in July when an amendment of the European UNECE Regulation 107 became mandatory.

Firetrace’s inhouse engineering and manufacturing team have been busy over the past few months developing and testing new products and systems. Some of these have already been implemented and others will be launched later this year.

From 18th-20th June 2019, Firetrace Ltd will be exhibiting at Firex International, the leading event for the fire protection and detection industry. With over thousands of fire safety professionals from around the world, it is the place for learning about the future of the industry.
